Welcome wanderer, I plan to start a new series, one I'm especially excited for😆. This is my villainess series. The cuties and the baddies, the babies and mommies, each week I'll do a post on the different villainesses in manwha and manga. These posts are about the personality type and situation of the villainesses and not whether they are reincarnated or regressed.
With that, I'll add a friendly reminder to PLEASE to support the author and artist that give us these great characters.
Without further ado, let's start the first post with a list of a particularly beloved type of villainess, the one who doesn't even know she's beloved and her mind works in a peculiar way. Here are our Clueless Dummies Villainesses.
1) Bakarina- Katarina Claes
Who else would I start with if not bakarina.This girl believed a doomed ending was what awaited her. This only changed when her 'destruction' actually came and she came to another funny conclusion.
Her cluelessness isn't irritating at all, but makes you amused and also flabbergasted(ooh big word) at the way her mind works. Another amusing point of the whole story is how she effortlessly starts her own harem while being ignorant of the affection those around have for her. This affection being completely warranted as she was and is a shining light that helped them overcome their insecurities and problems.
Sticking true to the name of this site, this manga is set in a fantasy setting and it includes fantasy elements such as magic. There is an anime for it. I was super excited when I found out it was getting an anime or had one ( not sure it existed before I found out) but either way if you want a comical and charming read I encourage you give it a try.

2) Bertia - The world's most evil villainess
This cute little story was something I read earlier and then was super excited when I found out there was a manga. It's also a bit unique as it follows the perspective of the ML (male lead) rather than from Bertia's perspective.
When I think back on the story, I find myself thinking ' Bertia is soooo sweet ' though a dummy, very sweet and kind.

When she shared her reasoning with the prince after he came out of the attack of the heroines 'bird' I just thought it was so kind how all along in her own silly way she just wanted to make sure that Cecil was happy and found happiness even if it didn't include her and she had to face a bad ending.

She really is a cutie and I can understand how she got her own fan club. The story itself is rather funny and also has fantasy elements. Each character is very interesting and I especially like the prince's character.
It's fun reading about Tia's wholehearted efforts to become a evil villainess just to end up being viewed as the kind and sweet person she is. If she were to be described, I guess it would be as a lovable dummy.

3) Mia - Miss Misunderstanding
Here we have the world's most lucky dummy. I believe she is who people mean when they say dumb luck. Misunderstanding after misunderstanding followed by a pinch of overthinking and we have Princess Mia, a dummy perceived as an intellectual genius.
This story is such a funny read and Mia is a very interesting character who just like Katarina wants to avoid a bad ending. Unlike the previous two, she already experienced her bad ending where she lived a Marie Antoinette kind of life( said they should eat meat is there is no bread) and faced a similar ending.
Personally, I like her character and see her as a dumb little kid trying her hardest to live.
As I said through a series of misunderstandings, the other characters view her as a shrewd and intelligent princess. I won't say she doesn't deserve it though as these views were catalyst by her own kind actions.
She isn't bad at heart and she appreciates the kindness she received from her maid before her death and treasures her for it. I would say she was just an ignorant spoiled princess who faced death though the hands of the suffering poor. And as she went back in time, she tries her best to avoid that end. She acknowledges she isn't capable of fixing the country on her own and seeks help from those who have the abilities to help the empire.
She is on the clueless dummy list for a reason though, and that is because she is one. She doesn't notice how the others now view her and that those who helped with her execution now hold her in high esteem.

Sauce: Tearmoon Empire
Mia, the hated princess of the fallen Tearmoon Empire. She finds herself executed by guillotine... only to wake up as a kid again! With this second chance, she resolves to fix the ailing Empire. Can Mia change history and save her own skin?
