Are you a bit stuck writing that world of yours? Even with the website I gave before, you still have a bit of trouble with the world building. Well, since you dropped by here are a couple videos that helped me get a better grasp on the world I created for my book.Don't forget though that this is your work, so don't treat all advice as if it's set in stone.





How to build a fictional world - Kate Messner



As I said in my earlier post on world building websites, this video was a very short one and some people in the comments said it didn't really answer anything about world building. But for me I had my first eureka moment after watching this video. 

I think most of us grew up watching or reading fantasy work, even if it wasn't some of the most classic and famous works. Despite those works of fiction and the games we play giving us an idea the whole concept of world building might still fly right over our heads. Personally, after I watched this video, it just felt like the whole concept of creating a world became a little clearer.I think summarised the very crux of what world building is and how writers go about forging said worlds.

Go give it a watch and see if it sets you on the right path.
